Paint the clay pot or paper cup black. Set it
aside to dry. |
 |
Fold the chenille stems in half. Tie a piece
of string around all four stems at the fold. Let the string
hang towards the unfolded ends of the chenille stems. |
 |
Poke the folded ends of the chenille stems into the
clay pot through the drainage hole. (You will need to make a
hole with scissors if you are using a paper cup) |
 |
Cut a short piece of the coffee stir stick (about
1.5 cm), and slip it through the loop formed by the folded chenille
stems inside the pot. |
 |
Gently pull the chenille stems back out of the
pot. The stir stick should prevent them from going too far. |
 |
Bend the chenille stems down to look like spider
legs & feet. |
