Colour the pinwheel on both sides. |

Cut out around the outside (solid lines). |

Cut along the dotted lines ** don't cut all the way
to the centre! |

Put a bead on the thumb tack. |

Gently fold the four marked corners to the centre of
the pinwheel. Be careful not to crease the paper. |

Push the thumb tack through all five layers of paper
as indicated by the small circles. |

Add the second bead to the thumb tack. |
 |
Push the end of the thumb tack into a dowel or
pencil to create a handle for your pinwheel. |
 |
Blow gently to make the pinwheel spin. |
