tin can candle holder
Materials:
 |
Clean, empty tin can |
|
Tea light candle |
|
Nail |
|
Hammer |
|
Water |
|
Freezer (or cold weather!) |
|
Mitts or gloves |
|
Paper, pencil, and tape (optional) |
How to:
|
Fill an empty tin can 3/4 full with water. |
|
Place the can in a freezer or outside overnight to allow the water to freeze |
|
Use a hammer and nail to make holes in the sides of the can. Create your design with paper first if you like - then tape it to the can as a guide. |
|
When the design is complete, place the can in a sink and let the ice melt (warm water poured over the outside will speed this process up) |
|
Place a candle inside the can and light it! |
